About the Position:
In this role, you will be responsible for the development, standardization and optimization of the IT and OT network infrastructure of our customer systems. As the interface between our product development teams and the delivery and service teams, you will design forward-looking network architectures and ensure their successful integration into existing and new systems.
Your main tasks include the conceptualization of network architectures, the creation of configuration standards and the development of templates that serve as the basis for future projects and implementations. With your expertise, you will make a significant contribution to the efficiency and reliability of our automation solutions and help us to offer our customers innovative, customized solutions.
Main Tasks:
- Conception and design of network architectures
- Evaluation and standardisation of network technologies
- Technical support for the realisation and consulting of sales
- Creation of migration concepts for modern and future-orientated network technologies
- Close collaboration with portfolio management and other internal and external stakeholders
Secondary Tasks:
- Supporting the delivery and service teams with technical challenges
- Training employees in IT/OT
- Planning and implementation of network upgrades and optimisations
- Participation in industry events and training
- Liaising with compliance and security departments

Requirements:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of network engineering, computer science or electrical engineering. Alternatively, IT specialist specializing in network administration.
- You ideally have further training in the field of IT/OT or network technologies
- You have experience in IT/OT integration and network security as well as cloud integration and virtualization
- You are solution-orientated, security-conscious and have a high level of initiative
- You are characterized by a strong ability to analyze and a high level of detail orientation
- You are willing to travel (internationally) approx. 10% of the time
- Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
