Boiler Repair Manager (m/f)

Main Responsibilities: - Mechanical Repairs: mechanical repairs on pressure boilers to ensure their optimal functionality - Fault Diagnosis: Identify and analyze boiler defects and develop smart and efficient class approved repair solutions - Team Leadership: Guide and train technical staff on site, and coordinate workflows within the worldwide repair teams - Emergency Management: Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and unexpected technical problems to avoid disruption to ship operations - Shipping Company Interaction: Liaise with shipping companies to understand and meet their repair requirements and standards - Repair Planning: Plan commercial and technical boiler repairs, including the development of detailed repair procedures Department: Engineering/Technical. Reporting to: Global Repair Manager. Location: Zagreb, office and partly onboard ships for inspections .

Qualifications: - Education: Completed education in mechanical engineering, welding qualifications & marine engineering, or a related field - Experience: Several years of experience in the production or repair of ship boilers or similar technical systems, including experience with shipping companies and their repair requirements - Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of boiler technology and relevant safety regulations - Skills: Problem-solving abilities, team leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure - Certifications: Valid certifications for working on high-pressure boilers and other relevant technical qualifications - Language Skills: Fluent in English, Office Applications, CAD
